EPROCRA'S OBJECTIVES, PROGRAMMES AND STRATEGIES

   To assist in development and promotion of public awareness regarding child’s rights consciousness.

   To build the capacity of youths in protecting and managing the environment.

   To network with existing environmental and children help-lines to facilitate experience sharing and mutual support in order to reach out more effectively to target groups.

   To enhance accessibility of social services to people and communities as a whole.

   To promote social justice for children, young people and women in Nigeria.

   To partner with NGOs locally and internationally, government agencies, private organisations and interested individuals to alleviate environmental hazards and child’s rights abuses in communities.

   To increase Human Rights and Gender Equality awareness among secondary school youths.

Children and Environment is a project aimed at inculcating environmental management consciousness in young minds.

@          Maternal and child health care is aimed at reproductive health awareness.

@          Care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS, orphans and children.

@          Educational support aimed at supporting less-privilege children to start school and drop-out to get back to school.

@ Sustainable Livelihood aimed at improving the socio-economic status of women especially and communities generally.

@ Vocational training aimed at training women, youths and community groups in the sustainable skills development (SSD). Areas of training covers sewing, hairdressing, computer skills, photograpgy etc.

EPROCRA believes in prevention, advocacy and community mobilization, capacity building and intervention strategy as a right approach in all it programmes and activities in fighting for a better society regarding environment and child's rights.
